SUMMAX aims to blend into the landscape of our communities, as an element that coexists within them, where people with all kinds of tastes—from the most traditional to the most avant-garde—live, both inside and out.
We seek collaboration, not competition. We can be part of that skyline where everyone decides where they prefer to live, based on the idea that every business has its own vision and ours doesn’t have to be the one everyone adopts, although we will always reach out with new ideas to anyone who wants to collaborate.
Hence the image illustrating the lead-in to this week’s newsletter, where we conducted a survey to gauge how this new social and commercial network we’re building is being received so far, and thus we’re dedicating a post to OPINIONS ABOUT SUMMAX.
Everyone expresses themselves as they see fit, and we’ve respected that. For us, it’s a gift of great value.
Let’s begin
Singular Posts
Finally, we’d like to highlight UNTOLD MAGAZINE, an independent publication created by SUR GLOBAL that is grounded in research and fact-checking, ensuring in-depth, thought-provoking, and essential content.
It focuses on bringing visibility to stories, ideas, and movements that traditional media often ignore or overlook, covering topics such as sustainability, radical innovation, technology, design, activism, and the GLOBAL SOUTH, as well as the forces shaping the future.
It seeks to challenge the status quo with in-depth narratives, shedding light on perspectives that question power, rethink systems, and push the boundaries of convention, to discover innovative projects and highlight emerging talent, collaborating with creatives from around the world who are building sustainable futures at every level.
In its latest issue, among other topics, it features an article titled “Beyond the Algorithm: Resistance and Digital Sovereignty in the South,” exploring how algorithms are not neutral but carry accents, genealogy, and colonial memory, and “Reclaiming the Internet: Toward a Post-Naive and Pluriversal Web,” seeking a collective construction of human infrastructures.
A must-read.
And on another note, as a “disturbing” curiosity, there’s the announcement about TILLY NORWOOD, a charming new actress whom, according to her creators, several agencies are vying to represent in Hollywood.
Yes, creators, because this newcomer is a virtual AI creation by PARTICLE6, which unveiled her at the ZURICH SUMMIT during the ZURICH FILM FESTIVAL.
Place your bets on her future.
Years ago, ROBIN WRIGHT (that wonderful star of THE PRINCESS BRIDE) played an actress who received a lucrative offer to have her AI-generated image used in films: THE CONGRESS is the title of the film based on the novel THE FUTUROLOGICAL CONGRESS / THE FUTUROLOGICAL CONGRESS by STANISLAW LEM, and is directed by ARI FOLMAN, also known for WALTZ WITH BASHIR.
If you haven’t seen it, it’s worth discovering. It will make you think about much of what we’ve been discussing.
More next week.
